Tufted Rugs

In 2021, I spent a year learning how to handmade tufting rugs and navigating the beginnings of running a small business.

I learned much about my creative habits as well as what fuels me. I learned about the joy that I derive from exploring projects, especially those which require constant practice of ingenuity and problem solving. 

This was my first time using textiles as a medium for my artistic expression. In fact, it was my first time using any medium other than paint and canvas. This time revolutionized my understanding of my capacity for creation, and led me to seek out my current love of photography.
